We are consolidating our IT team in the field Private Cloud at our location in Friedrichshafen.

Expert WIO Flexible Platform Cloud (m/f)

Responsibilities:

• Concept, Build, Expand and Operate ZF’s Container Platform based on Kubernetes/OpenShift
• Automate the deployment and scaling of IaaS, PaaS and SaaS cloud services on private (OpenStack) and public (AWS, Azure, …) clouds
• Review and Harden the security of cloud services
• Support developers and engineering in designing and building applications in an agile way in micro-service architectures
• Design and Implement CI/CD-Pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) for Infrastructure configuration/deployment and applications
• Quickly evaluate and adopt to new technologies
• Monitor the market for new technologies that help expand the ZF infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in the field of computer science
• 6 years work experience in the system administration area
• Deep Linux skills
• Know-How on building and running containers in Kubernetes/OpenShift-Clusters in various cloud environments
• Automation using Ansible
• Preferably experience in implementing CI/CD-Pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab Runners
• Preferably experience in the IoT-field (designing and implementing IoT-Hub, Message Bus, etc.)
• Fluent English
• Work in agile, international project teams; also be able to lead IT-projects
• Readiness to travel internationally
