For our materials management in Auerbach (Germany), we are recruiting a
Projekt Manager (m/f) Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) purchasing
Responsibilities:
- Drive and perform VA/VE projects (Value Analysis / Value Engineering)
- Identify cost reduction potentials in VA/VE context, consolidate validation windows for VA/VE program validation
- Manage VA/VE programs from ideas generation to series production
- Evaluate cost reduction and product optimization ideas and measures with regards to technical feasibility, profitability and customer acceptance
- Close cooperation with suppliers and internal functions (R&D, Commodity purchasing, Quality, Production, Project Management, Sales)
- Initiate business cases out of VA/VE ideas in cooperation with involved functions
- Prepare and perform presentations to management functions
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering / industrial engineering or a comparable formation
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the automotive supplier industry
- Profound technical knowledge in electromechanics / electronics
- Professional language skills in English language as well as in MS-Office and SAP MM
- Ability to think and act cross-functional, work independently as well as actively participate in team processes
