We are looking for a new colleague in the area of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Production Operator Assistance Systems at our location in Friedrichshafen
IT Operator Assistance Systems Manager (m/f)
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage teams of software engineers who will create world class enterprise solutions for Production Process Execution Control Systems
- Lead, mentor and coach international team of software developers
- Take responsibility for the quality of the products produced by the team, ensure it complies with corporate standards, meets minimum requirements, is exceptionally tested and well documented
- Partner with the product owner and architects to ensure that the teams deliver what is required and continuously improve
- Work in partnership with production to define architectures and systems for production automation focusing on process control, visualization, worker assistance, connectivity and collaboration with assembly suppliers and SCADA system suppliers
Requirements:
- Passion for technology, product development, and fast paced delivery
- Expert knowledge of delivery methodologies e.g. Agile Scrum, Kanban
- 7+ years professional experience in commercial software development
- Experience in implementing professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle
- English speaking and writing skills
