Postdoctoral Scientist Pharmacology (m/f)
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Evaluate novel pro-inflammatory and
pro-nociceptive patho-mechanisms in pelvic pain related
indications
- Establish and optimize in vivo
pharmacology models in inflammatory pain and/or visceral
pain
- Plan, perform, evaluate, interpret and
present scientific experimental studies
- Participate in the EU funded Innovative Medicine
Initiative (IMI2) project
called IMI-PainCare
- Network with the 40 partners of IMI-PainCare in
industry and academia
- Collaborate in interdisciplinary project groups
across various functions
Who you are
- PhD degree in pharmacology, biology,
biochemistry or MD (m/f)
- Working on PhD thesis in final phase or finished
within the last 6 months
- Experience in in vivo pharmacology of pain
or inflammation models
- Experience in neurobiology or
gynecology
- Sense of responsibility and ability to adapt to a
dynamic research environment
- Creative and flexible thinking as well as excellent
presentation skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as
independently
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken,
knowledge of German is helpful but not required
