Global Account Manager (m/f)
- Identify and target new business opportunities within particular market sectors and/or geographical regions in line with the business strategy
- Lead sales pipeline development process: relationship development, ‘route to market’ process management (PQ, RFI, RFP, proposal, negotiated, advertising/press campaigns)
- Lead & co-ordinate support resources for sales process as well as significant direct contribution to the process in accordance with specified time-frames (operations, estimating, bid writing & other support functions)
- Identify and understand client's specific key drivers and develop solutions for success, leveraging E.ON's capabilities and USP’s (e.g. sector experience, coverage, energy management expertise, technical capabilities)
- Ensure internal governance is adhered to; management reporting & authorisation processes
- Convert new business opportunities to contract awards
- Lead individual target setting on clear sales KPIs, e.g. Revenues, order intake.
- Manage and coordinate regional sales managers and delivery units
- Build up strong and engaged high performing GA teams for each global account out of Regional Unit (RU)KAMs and Domain Bid teams
- Manage up to 10 global accounts, ideally from the same segment
- Identify and engage in industry forums & networking opportunities to strengthen market presence of the business
- Create account development plans, buying center analysis and stakeholder mapping. Gain buy in of ECT Board
- Proven track record in building sustainable and profitable key accounts
- Proven track record of success stories in a matrix environment
- Familiar with strategic selling tools and procedures, e.g. Miller-Heiman
- Ability to understand customer business and processes and link it to energy related impacts
- Strong in relationship building and sales motivation
- In depth experience of selling in a similar role in the solutions business
- Experience of route to market solution selling in vertical industry sectors (e.g. IT industry / FM / Industrial Services)
- English language fluent at negation level
- Language skills of other European languages than German or English, e.g. Czech, Polish, etc., preferable
