IT Security Architect (m/f)- PKI

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall PKI process design and compliance (registration, certificate revocation, key escrow, smartcard handling, PIN reset, ….. )
• Represents E.ON in PKI topics in committees and boards e.g TeleTrust, BSI, etc
• Governance role for outsourcing suppliers managing E.ON's PKI infrastructure.
• Responsible for PKI policies (Certificate Policy,Certification Practise Statements) of E.ON in the context of E.ON’s policy framework, related trust center policies and standards
• Organizes and supports the regular PKI document and practice audits
• Managing PKI related incidents: reporting cause, related deficiencies and recommend remedies;
• Act as an PKI coordinator for the organization. First contact for projects related to certificate use cases, e.g.
  • smartcard technologies,
  • data encryption at rest (disc, database…) and in motion (S/MIME, TLS…)
  • data signing (e-mails, documents, code) ,
  • access control (user / machine authentication, VPN, TLS, asset protection)
• Responsible for the architecture and approval of the PKI related system components
• Provide PKI consultancy and knowledge transfer for related projects as required

Qualifications

• Academic degree in technical or business studies

• Proven experience in managing an enterprise Public Key Infrastructure

• Working knowledge and deep understanding of standards and technologies like TLS, X.509, Cryptography, etc

• Ability to approach problems from an IT security perspective coupled with sound business know-how.

• Intercultural competence and international orientation

• Highly developed communication and presentation skills

• Fluent German and English language skills
