Hardware Expert E-Mobility (m/f)
- Support the global E-Mobility team in developing best-in-class charging services based on market leading infrastructure
- Be an expert in electrical installation standards and charging with in-depth knowledge on infrastructure, hardware, regulation and safety
- Leading E.ON’s own laboratory testing facilities for charging infrastructure to benchmark, improve and test hardware
- Management of installation process for charging hardware owned or operated by E.ON in cooperation with internal and external service partners
- Representing E.ON in E-Mobility working groups and councils (e.g. DKE, NPE)
- Investigation of hardware requirements (e.g. PTB), translation into compatible solutions and cooperation with hardware suppliers on their development
- Conduction of (global) tenders together with procurement and in cooperation with Regional Units to meet global and local hardware requirements
- Consult Regional and Business Units in potential (bundle-) solutions for B2B and B2M customers
- Actively drive innovative green-field approaches and take leadership in pilot projects for new charging infrastructure
- Tight cooperation with Head of Platform and Operations on all hardware-related topics and escalate critical issues in a timely manner
- Relevant university degree in engineering, preferably electrical/automotive or energy engineering
- Minimum of five years experience in engineering, ideally in developing and testing of charging hardware components
- Strong interest in E-Mobility
- Strong understanding of technical requirements
- Used to working with multi-disciplinary, international teams across departmental or business borders
- Creative and inquisitive mind, able to think out of the box
- Execution-focused, detail-oriented and used to working independently
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
