Support in development of group's corporate strategy priorities
Evaluate the strategic benefits and risks of larger portfolio shifts including M&A opportunities
Drive individual initiatives required by the Board and take lead responsibility in key work topics
Develop written documents and presentations to communicate initiatives above within the group and for external purposes
Develop and implement capital allocation processes and strategies that drive the group portfolio in the selected direction
Manage portfolio tool and analyze/communicate the group financial impacts of portfolio shifts
Support in understanding development potential of individual business units
Other related responsibilities as required
Qualifications
University degree with strong academic record
Professional management consulting experience - strong analytical (high accuracy and diligence in quantitative and qualitative analyses) and conceptual mind with the ability to simultaneously consider a multitude of different variables and to draw meaningful conclusions from their synthesis
Ability and track-record in effectively structuring non-standardized tasks and delivering convincing board presentations at short notice
Highly creative with an ability to think "out of the box" as well as proven ability to be flexible and to constantly change and develop
Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate on Executive level
Strong willingness and ability to take on own accountability, high self-reliance in the way of working, strong result orientation, ability to push things forward and to drive change
Good knowledge of Excel - proven portfolio / financial modeling skills
Good understanding/knowledge in finance, formal financial qualifications advantageous
Knowledge of energy markets, proven professional experience in renewables, customer solutions and/or networks is preferred
Very good command of English, fluent German is a plus
