Senior Business Analyst (m/f) - New Customer Solutions

Responsibilities

Responsible for change in business analytics from capture of business requirements, through technical development & delivery
Responsible for the consistent availability of the (semi) automated planning and reporting processes through their monthly & quarterly cycles
Work closely with operational, finance, sales and controlling teams from New Customer Solution (NCS) units across all regions to extract leading indicators and ensure consistent definition and data integrity across multiple source systems
Ensure business definitions are kept during technical calculation of indicators and ETL (extract, transform, load) process
Project planning and steering for meeting all detected requirements and demands
Identify undeveloped data and extract insights that will support controlling and business decisions
Partner with business experts and product owner to build BI and leading indicators of operational benchmarks
Ensure the use of a consistent data model between different functions, domain areas and regions
Conduct trainings for colleagues and team members – Interpreting the technical delivery into business impact
Producing training material & communications to support technical delivery
Conduct system testing & support UAT through test plans and co-ordination of resource

Qualifications

University degree in economics, engineering, information technologies or comparable studies
Several years of work experiences in relevant areas, preferably in the energy sector with direct exposure to complex IT projects
Experienced user of SAP ERP (FI/CO), Microsoft Excel, SAP and/or Microsoft business intelligence and business warehouse tools
Experience of working with Agile development methods and Design Thinking a plus
Advanced Knowledge of aligning business and IT
Experience in reporting, controlling and IT operations
Excellent result-driven & problem solving skills as well as persuasiveness, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Analytical capacity and structured mode of operation as well as excellent presentation skills and intercultural competences
Entrepreneurial and innovative mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication & moderation skills fluent in English, German would be an advantage
