Global Product Developer Hardware - PV and Battery (m/f)

Responsibilities

• Manage existing global hardware product portfolio (Battery, PV Panels, Inverters, Data Devices) and provide Insight and support for local adaptions
• Support the continuous enhancement of our local hardware product portfolio and consider local requirements and feedback for planning and definition of a global hardware portfolio
• Lead or assist implementation of new hardware components into the hardware product portfolio
• Set-up processes for a lean and efficient hardware value chain
• Prepare and manage global hardware spec documentation
• Recurrently gather, analyze market and customer insights; derive relevant information and identify potential value add through hardware developments for the PV and Battery value proposition and regularly exchange with local hardware teams on feedback and requirements
• Assist and provide product governance for all types of hardware RfI`s/RfQ´s and act as trusted advisor in regard to hardware development for continuous enhancement of the value proposition
• Prepare and carry out hardware specific trainings of local teams

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, engineering, business engineering or equivalent
• Open mindset with understanding of digital developments and markets, creativity to identify opportunities for hardware product portfolio
• In depth's understanding of the PV and Battery solutions and its delivery (technology, battery applications) and professional experience on product ownership  or product management in an energy environment
• High commitment to customer experience and customer centric thinking
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with, ability to work in highly agile and flexible teams and business environments
• Ability to manage own work-stream with high degree of independence
• Strong communication skills with ability to convince others and communicate with colleagues and third parties from various backgrounds
• Business fluent in English, language proficiency in German is of advantage
